 What a great imaginative world this book creates. It's a perfect story to escape into where fantasy meets dystopia and adds in castles and royalty plus a little romance. Great characters especially the strong willed female princess and her sweet and loyal protector. This book will surprise and delight you! 5 stars!

 Action,adventure, mystery, futuristic, hint of romance , strong female lead, and humor. If you are looking for any of this rolled into one this is the book for you. I needed this read in today’s world. Perfect get away from it all book. It’s a story of youthful characters with kings and castles solving problems, going on an adventure and trying to right wrongs. I can never get over the writing skills of this author. I dive into the words and never want it to end. I don’t normally care about the cover of a book but this was a slam dunk of perfection. Check out the cover and dive into the words. You will have a few hours of a perfect getaway.

 I have had the pleasure of of working with Brennan during the launch of his book. He is a talented writer and the world he builds is unique. It has been a long time since I have been able to sit and read an entire book. I am glad to have had the opportunity to read Dying Earth Part 1.

 Solid story that kept my interest. This is out of my normal genre of murder mystery/police procedural, but definitely held my attention and made me want to know what would happen next. I loved 

the Summerlyn character and would read more if this becomes a series. I always enjoy reading about complex and strong female characters.
